Finding Stillness in Movement

Most students arrive wanting to move — to stretch, sweat, or finally release a tight hip. That's valid. But the moments that change practice usually happen in the transitions: the pause between inhale and exhale, the half-beat before the next pose.
When I cue a slower sun salutation, it's not to make class easier. It's to give your nervous system time to register where you are. Speed can mask habits. Slowness reveals them.
Try this in your next home practice: take one familiar sequence and add one full breath to each movement. Notice where you rush. Notice where you stabilize. That map is useful.
